March 2023 Update from Pollyanna
March 2023

Dear Friend,

Have you ever experienced the powerful return to simple truths? Witnessed how moments of adversity can become opportunities to reconnect with plain yet profound beliefs that guide us?

Amidst recent collective adversity—from the pandemic to political instability and polarization—I find myself returning to this simple truth: conversation, connection and community are the cure.

While these are driving forces behind everything we do at Pollyanna, they are deeply rooted in Pollyanna’s Intra- and Multi-School Conferences. The power of each Pollyanna Conference model is to purposefully drown out the noise and bring us back to our greatest and most practical sources of wisdom: each other.

Next academic year our goal is to bring Pollyanna’s Conferences to as many schools around the country as possible. Whether it’s a school community that has been striving to create more just and equitable spaces for decades or a school that is embarking on this journey in newly-informed ways; we believe there is no better way to forward DEIB goals than to set aside the time and space to consider them deeply, thoughtfully, and in community with others.

By turning down the volume, we are able to hear all voices and return to our simple yet profound guiding principles. Please reply to this email or join our session on April 18 to learn more about how we can guide your school in deep conversation, connection, and community!

Warmly,
Casper Caldarola
Founder
