In this workshop, Brandon Guidry will provide a series of questions, conversations, and collaborative work space to explore the idea of building lifelong readers. Through exploration of the historical literary canon, our own reading journeys, and the journeys of our children, we will have an opportunity to unpack our relationship with the concept and begin the process of building authentically diverse libraries.
This workshop is open to faculty and administrators across all divisions and parents, as well. We would like anyone interested in evolving the reading experience for children and we will also include some helpful tips for the adult’s own reading habits.
The Zoom room will open at 12:50PM ET. We will begin at 1:00PM ET and run until 2:30PM ET.
Cost is $100 per person. The registration link will be open on October 9 until 9:00AM ET.
